Although our communities are getting increasingly diverse, not everyone feels truly heard and included.

Diversity, Inclusion and "Intersectionality": What is intersectionality?
Theroized by Kimberle Crenshaw in 1989, intersectionality helps to understand how social and political identities converge in different ways to shape a person's lived experience in terms of power, discrimination and privilege.
Some of the categorisations that contribute to intersectionality are gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, education or socioeconomic background (but of course not limited to just these).
Intersectionality helps us make sense of the way we navigate the world, how we relate to it and how others relate to us. -
