Once upon a time, I did a CELTA course in the UK. This awoke my passion for teaching and
enabled me to see the world. From there, I decided to get a Masters in Teaching English to
Speakers of Other Languages. For over 20 years, I have taught English to students of all ages in
different countries. From my experiences, I began to write and recently finished my first novel.
With teaching, I like to read short stories or news articles with students and discuss guided
questions. I encourage students to stream TV episodes and take notes of language because it is
engaging to talk about in class, and we can focus on grammatical questions as well. Learning
occurs best by actively engaging with the language. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to
